Hello,

I'm building a server for a UNIX environment, but it's possible it may run Windows in the future. I was wondering if there were any considerations I need to look at when buying hardware for UNIX or Windows. I have built PC's in the past that run both fine - So I am thinking that everything will be fine. The only things that I can think of that would even possibly matter would be the motherboard and/or the cpu...So, do I need to consider that? As a note, I've attached links to the motherboard and cpu that I am looking at. If you see any obvious faults, please let me know.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
